Jeff Hanan to speak on leadership development topics: 'Effectively Facilitating Team and Project Meetings' and 'Understanding and Leveraging Key Strengths'
Patina Solutions will have a representative speaking at the Central Ohio Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association's (HFMA) Spring Conference on March 14-15.
The event will draw more than 170 participants, including finance and revenue-cycle leaders and decision-makers from Central Ohio's health systems. The conference sessions will provide valuable information to attendees on the latest and most relevant changes affecting healthcare finance, revenue cycle and accounting, and how these changes will affect their organizations.
Jeff Hanan, National Practice Director - Leadership and Organizational Development for Patina Solutions, will present two sessions on leadership development over the course of the two-day conference:
- Effectively Facilitating Team and Project Meetings
This session will provide attendees with proven methods and meeting essentials that increase efficiency and effectiveness when working with or leading teams, projects and meeting groups. It will also provide tips for reducing problem behaviors and increasing participation and balance in meetings, helping attendees get proven, demonstrable results out of their future meetings.
- Understanding and Leveraging Your Strengths
Current research shows that only 12% of people in the workplace are using their key strengths. This session will help attendees understand their inherently strong strengths and how to use them to reap incredible benefits from an individual, team and organizational perspective.
The event is taking place at NorthPointe Conference Center, located at 100 Green Meadows Drive South, Lewis Center, Ohio, 43035.
"Jeff's sessions will be timely and valuable given the major system implementations many healthcare providers are undergoing, as well as the changes brought about by healthcare reform and market dynamics," said Shawn McGrath, managing director at Patina Solutions' Columbus office.
"HFMA is a respected thought leader on top trends and issues facing the healthcare industry," said Sherry Borchelt, managing partner of Patina Solutions' three Ohio-based offices. "We are pleased to be a part of this conference."
Hanan leads Patina Solutions' Leadership and Organizational Development practice which helps companies with change management, mentoring, executive coaching, meeting facilitation and more. His previous positions include vice president of human resources for a two-hospital, integrated healthcare delivery system and director of personnel services for a large regional health system.
HFMA is the nation's leading membership organization for healthcare financial management executives and leaders with more than 39,000 members, including CFOs, controllers and accountants.
