Chief Human Resources Officer

A medical device manufacturer funded by venture capital was growing and did not have a strong HR Executive on its management team.  The company needed a better recruiting strategy to attract the top talent it needed to accomplish its goals, including improving its benefit plans and creating new compensation structures.  Patina provides a Chief HR Officer with industry background who works 40 hours per month, reporting to the CEO, to lead these HR and talent related matters.

Merger & Acquisition Specialist

A $50 million transportation company was interested in finding possible candidates for acquisition and needed an overall M&A strategy.  Patina provided a seasoned Patina Executive with expertise in M&A to act as the company's Chief M&A Officer.  Working an average of 20 hours per month, our Patina Executive played a key role in determining which type of companies to consider for acquisition and in educating the senior leadership team on how to evaluate targets.  This approach was more flexible and cost effective than engaging a consultant, business broker or investment banker to perform this type of work — and it provided the continuity and ongoing knowledge base the company wanted in a part-time and affordable way.
